Rottnest island

Rottnest is a tourist island 10 miles to the west of Perth in Australia. Most of the popular beaches are located in the north-east of the island. Rottnest island hos no many hotels, and most all of them are located near the main eastern pier. Rooms with rather basic conditions start from US$120 per night. The high dates should be booked at least a year in advance.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Perth international airport (PER). Next hire a taxi to the port of Fremantle and follow by Rottnest Express ferry (25 minutes per way).

It is best to travel around the island by bicycle, which can bу rented for $30 per day. Or you may also bring your own bicycle by the ferry.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the Rottnest Island is a warm season from December to April.
