Lombok island

Lombok is an island in Indonesia. Unlike the neighboring Bali, it has a lot of excellent beaches with white sand and palms. However, all other things are not so perfect. You will find volcanoes, mountain lakes and surfing. But definetely it can't compete with those in Bali. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Most hotels in Lombok are located in the south - in the area of white sand beaches, and in the west - near Gili islands. The minimum cost of the room starts from as low as US$10 per night. However, few upscale resorts were built recent years.

Fly to Lombok international airport (LOP). Next hire a taxi, or take a bus, or rent a bike.

When to go [edit]

The best time to relax on the beaches of Lombok island is a dry season from April to October.
