Rawa island

Rawa is a small island in Malaysia near mainland town of Mersing. The island has good snorkeling and hiking. Beach is also beautiful and comfortable for swimming. Unfortunately, Alangs Resort placed sand bags to protect from coastal erosion. So there is a chance, that the whole beach will be spoiled soon. Rawa Island Resort and Alangs Rawa Resort are beachfront properties with rooms' fares starting from US$100 per night. Both hotels are basic looking more like two or three stars. But their exclusive location is great.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Kuala Lumpur international airport (KUL). Then get by taxi to the pier of Mersing town, and get by speedboat to Rawa island.

Attention! You should always ask your hotel about transfer options, as well as to book boat in advance for exact time and exact pier.
