Fly to Honolulu international airport (HNL), next fly to Maui island airport - Kahului (OGG). There are also direct flights to Maui airport from USA and Canada, - sometimes fares can be very low. You can move around Maui island by taxi or by bus, but it is better to take a rental car.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Maui is a period from June to October, when sea water is warm enough. As for the surfing, it is better to choose winter half of the year, when the waves are stronger.
