Bahrain is a small island nation in the west of Persian Gulf. Most of good beaches are artificial here. Women can sunbathe in bikini only in beachfront upscale hotels. As for public beaches, it is better to use Islamic swimming suits. In general, everything is beautiful and scenic. It's quite like Dubai, but not so crowded. In Bahrain, seafront hotels starts from US$100 per night. But it makes sense to pay more to get a good resort with its own beach. In this case, typical rooms' fares are around US$200-300 per night. Yes, it is expensive. But it makes no sence to visit Bahrain, if your budget is very limited.
